NEW FORUM UPDATES, PLEASE READ

Steve, i like the idea of having a set of colour schemes and the user being allowed to have which ever one he/she prefers.

Also, I'm still having to log in everytime

Hey all, I've been over and registered to the new forum. Just out of curiosity, Just wondered why (and am I totally missing the point?) there is a need for a new forum. The only ads I saw on the current HOD were just one banner box, so it didn't annoy me at all. It's not as if it is an annoying pop up.
The search facility here is good, the emoticons are funny and much cuter than the new ones and the ability to quote, login etc are very easy. What was the problem? If it ain't broke, why try and fix it?

I can't tell you other problems which people experience but both here and in school, this page fails a lot, at least using I.E. It is also significantly slower than the new one. Those are just a couple of the problems i've had so far.

And, although i dont have the problem with the sponsored links as my pc probably isnt even new enough to recognise them or something, i know most other people do find them annoying and when i login in school they are rather annoying as when your mouse goes over a highlighted word, a box pops up

Also, i believe, steves webmast or someone called bill is working on the automatic login on the new hod. Steve any progress with that?

The sponsored links are also locale-specific. We don't get as many of them in the UK.

Yeah I totally I agree, I know a lot of people have complained about the brown, but I think its great and very unique. It is HOD. It, reflects the home page. And as groove pig says it has Warmth to it, like a hand hammered ride [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Decide if you like it. Logos can be changed obviously. Tell me which ones you like and I'll see if I can add them.
Or, you guys can make one too if you like. Create one that is the same as the current colors, call it "Classic HOD". [img]wink.gif[/img]
Emoticons can be added easily as well (and are easy to create). Traditional/matched grip icons anyone? Make it happen.
